Where exactly are the United Arab Emirates?

Strictly speaking in Asia, on the Arabian Peninsula at the Persian Gulf.

The capital of the United Arab Emirates is Abu Dhabi.

The distance to Germany is about 6 hours.

The time shift is 2 hours in summer and 3 hours in winter.

What kind of weather can you expect in the UAE?

During the summer months from May to September the temperatures can be around 50 degrees in the shade. Cuddly 30 degrees of water temperature won't really cool you down. Near the water it is also very humid.

In the winter months of December to March, it is much cooler, even up to 6 degrees and there is strong fog in the early morning hours. It can be uncomfortable when heavy rain and sand storms occure.
